This is my first post on the nicopengin website. It is currently a blog, for now. I truly can’t believe I am currently in pursuit of becoming a full fledged author. And how can I become an author without some material to share? My first serious work of art, Batey Ascending is currently available on Amazon right now. Its formats are paperback and eBook.

This is my first step into creating vivid stories. I plan to make come to life the creativeness in my head. Either with a wicked diction or if needed, using my own voice. Creating audiobooks needed to enhance the story would be a pleasure. The initial stories shall be inspired by the Taino Caribbean Indians and will potentially be a four-part book series. As of now, I am excited to say I am almost done with the second book. Around 80% or so. It will be on Amazon until I can get this website fully functioning. Until then, let me know what kinds of inspirations from the Taino I should use. Or if I should use any specific names as well. I am always looking to include others in my art.

Furthermore, I plan on making sure to either post on a schedule or when I have new content available. I am too excited about this new journey as of now. Soon, I will be setting up an email listing. I would like to have more individuals interested in reviewing my book even if I give some away for free. The higher the book is able to be ranked the easier it will be for me to focus on writing better stories and less on marketing. My goal is to come up with an amazing series that anyone can enjoy but especially for those into having an expansive imagination.
